On October 24, students of Hovtashat Secondary School visited the A. I. Alikhanyan National Science Laboratory.
As part of the visit, a guided educational tour was conducted, during which the students were introduced to the laboratory’s scientific infrastructure and research activities.
The first stop of the tour was the “Injector Operation and Maintenance Department,” where the students learned about the history and development of the particle accelerator.
They then visited the laboratory’s “Clean Room” and the “Scintillation and Cherenkov Detector Research” departments to observe ongoing scientific work.
The tour concluded at the laboratory’s experimental hall-museum, where the students had the opportunity to engage in and develop their skills through scientific experiments.
During the visit, the students explored the research infrastructure in the field of physics, further deepening their interest in science.
