On October 2, a seminar was held at the A. I. Alikhanyan National Science Laboratory, during which independent researcher Denis Ryabov presented the results of his latest research on nonlinear lattices.
During the seminar, the definition of internal pressure in solid-state systems was discussed, as well as the possible occurrence of negative values of this quantity.
The discussion focused on the possibility of classifying solid-state systems by means of pressure, which may be significant for the development and study of new types of materials.
